Vortech Automatic Iron Filter Up-Grade
The most recent innovative upgrade in Iron Filter State of the Art Technology.
The Vortech replaces the traditional 20 lbs. of gravel under-bedding in the bottom of the filte rtank with the Vortech grid platform (No More Gravel).
A common problem with gravel under-bedding is water “channeling” (streams and rivers) to form in the mineral bed. This also causes the mineral bed to “cake-up” and clump together losing efficiency.
The Vortech grid platform is designed with multiple specific type holes. This provides for a constant uniform flow (distribution) of backwash water up thru the mineral bed.
Vortech increases the efficiency of the Back Wash Cycle by 28% along with the lieftime of the Iron Filter.
