What Makes This Filter Different?
The Model REG3POT Iron Filter has a “Regeneration” Cycle in addition to the Backwash Cycle. This added Regeneration Cycle with Potassium fully restores and recharges the Mineral Bed Media to “Like New” condition. The Extra Cycle dramatically increases the life span of the filter, while making it much more efficient.
The Backwash/Regeneration cycle is programmed for only once a week and not every night, saving volumes of water. This technology is designed for heavy, extreme Ferric (Suspended) and Ferrous (Dissolved) Iron in well water. The System does an outstanding job of stopping Iron, along with the brownish, orange, and red stains. You will enjoy better tasting, no metallic odor, and filtered water from every faucet in your home.
Complimentary starter Potassium (Pot Perm) is included for the installation. It is also available online thru Amazon.com. You only add 3 lbs. to the Potassium Feeder Tank quarterly (every three months).
