The “Regeneration Cycle” with Potassium recharges and restores the Greensand Plus Mineral Bed. This provides for a much longer, more efficient lifespan for the Iron Filter. The Regeneration Cycle follows the Backwash Cycle and is programmed for only once a week. (The Model LGXTC is unlike other Iron Filters which require a Daily Back Washing and lack the Regeneration Cycle.)
